I just bought the Ultrahuman Ring AIR and it changes everything for smart wearables

I've been a quantified self enthusiast for a long while now and have looked at smart wearables as a way to kickstart healthy routines. But every wearable I got has had its own flaws - Whoop (high subscription, inconsistent activity tracking), Oura (high upfront fee, subscription, bad tracking other than sleep), Amazon Halo (mediocre tracking, bad battery), Fitbit (bad battery life, basic interface). So I'm surprisingly delighted by the ring I just bought, from a team out of India, called the Ultrahuman Ring AIR. This is a sleek piece of hardware - a ring that's a bit wide but ultrathin and with colors that allow it to blend in with your other rings. I've been wearing it for about 3 weeks and I've basically forgotten it's on. It's got a great battery life (6 days), and all the right features - 6-axis motion sensor, waterproof, sleep phase tracking, skin temp tracking, HRV, oxygen saturation, PPG sensor. And no required subscriptions! Just an optional device protection fee at $30/year.The software is also promising. So many metrics tracked it's almost overwhelming. Lots of good visualizations and explanations. And almost every metric has a double click to learn more. Plus, they focus on actually giving you recommendations - not just listing out a bunch of metrics that are hard to interpret and synthesize.Look it's not perfect - they're a startup taking on the big guys so they need a little work. But it's a team I believe in - they've done a lot already and keep improving. I'd love to see them add more imperial measurement (yeah I'm that American), and a better scorecard to get a pulse on how I'm doing as well as some simplification of the interface. But it's really really good for a first go.Eager to see more Artifacts try out Ultrahuman - Ad Astra (to the stars)!
